Papertown

CAMP AND FURNACE

£6 - £4

A place where there are no problems, a place with no decisions, no information overload, a simple place, a place where you can just be…

“That’s Papertown. The town. Our town. Us. It’s hard to notice at first. The footfall, so regular, in tune, the tapping of familiar feet meeting familiar ground to the point of silence, you forget it’s there until you stand still. But it’ll seep into you, you’ll begin to walk, and your ears won’t notice it at all, you’ll be in it, part of it. Living is easy.”

After the success of Intimate, Young Everyman Playhouse (YEP) return to Camp and Furnace with a brand new show. A large scale production in collaboration with LIPA, Papertown brings together the different strands of YEP to create its most ambitious work to date. Devised and performed by the YEP Actors, written by YEP Writers and marketed by the YEP Marketers, it has been designed and production managed by LIPA Technical and Design students.
