New Works
Discovering and supporting new talent is at the heart of what we do
Our New works team run regular development opportunities, playwright support and events for new writers and theatre makers. Share and see new work in early stage development from North West artists at Scratch Studio, get feedback on your script at our Script Surgeries with Paperwork Theatre or pop in and use our lovely Writers’ Room to get that piece written!
Our focus is on discovering and supporting new North West talent including two free playwriting courses and our Spare Room scheme which offers free rehearsal space to local artists. We accept unsolicited Script Submissions at select points in the year from writers from and/or living in the Merseyside region.
We work in partnership with organisations at all scales, across the North West, and love to hear from you. If you would like to invite us to your show or introduce your company, drop us a line at [email protected]
