Overseeing all the creative activities for the company, from producing our homegrown e&P productions and commissioning new work to programming visiting productions for our three performance spaces. The team also support our talent development programmes for existing and emerging artists.
Looking after lighting, sound, video, stage and wardrobe, the team are the backbone of our work on stage, facilitating all technical aspects of our productions. They also provide technical support to visiting productions and supporting off-stage activities around the buildings and out in the community.
Admin, finance & IT
Responsible for all aspects of looking after our greatest resource, our staff, while ensuring we are effectively deploying and managing our financial resources. The team also provide, support and maintain all IT and communication services infrastructure across all departments and both buildings.
The team who make our audiences and company feel welcome and cared for, includes Duty Managers, Stage Door Reception, Cleaning, Security and Ushers. It includes dedicated events and hospitality staff to support the many hires and events we host.
Two such distinct and busy theatres require a great deal of upkeep. We are committed to becoming a greener and more sustainable company, so as well as day to day maintenance they also monitor energy usage and ensure equipment is run and maintained to optimum levels.
We offer many services for those who might need particular assistance when they visit. From Audio Described and BSL to Captioned and Relaxed performances, we'll always do our best to accommodate your need, whatever it may be.
We are a registered charity (number 1081229) and have a team dedicated to fundraising from individuals, businesses, trusts and foundations to support our artistic aspirations, develop Liverpool’s theatrical talent and to extend our work in communities across Liverpool City Region.
This encompasses many strands of work, including Learning, Outreach and Young Everyman Playhouse. Since we aim to engage the widest possible audience with a cultural experience, the team are dedicated to dismantle barriers to participation, creation and enjoyment.
Marketing & sales
The marketing, press and ticketing operation for the company, the team aim to encourage as many people as possible to visit our buildings, see a show, read or hear about our work in the local and national media or follow our work online. They’re also happy to help with enquiries and relish feedback.
Food & drink
This team is solely based at the Everyman, providing good, honest and locally sourced food and drink in our street café, theatre bar and basement bistro from breakfast through to the early hours. Working closely with the events team, they also cater for the many different events and activities we host.
