'So much blood has fallen on our earth, it is caked and hard and nothing drains off’.

Our House Is Condemned is the adaptation of the classical text, and perhaps the darkest tale of all times, the Oresteia by Aeschylus. A bloodthirsty King, a venomous Queen and a vigorous Prince, all tangled in a story of revenge, violence and power. In this new adaptation, the family drama in the House of Atreus is now performed by one actor. A narrator. A person like us. A citizen in the modern English world. It is a modern point of view, against a roaring punk soundtrack, which attempts to remind us of the true rise and fall of power within a world of violence. A world which is…condemned.

Content warnings: Death, murder, violence, criminal activity, references to the abuse of women and children, loud noises.
