Want to belly laugh with some amazingly funny women this Christmas?

Downstairs at the Everyman is pleased as punch to welcome Fem De La Femme on the fourth Thursday of every month. This seriously funny comedy night is packed with some of the finest women comedians from the North West and beyond. From established comics to those taking their first steps into comedy, the night is packed with jokes, laughter, spoken word and there might even be a raffle.

Fem De La Femme is a big fan of women of all backgrounds and offers a warm, welcoming space for everyone to get together and enjoy the best women in comedy, and fellas you're welcome to come too!

Louise Young
Louise was nominated as best newcomer and also runner up of the ‘Biggest Award in comedy’ at last year’s Edinburgh fringe. Louise has been tour support Alan Carr and Jason Manford and has been seen on Channel 4’s original comedy shorts and comedy central Live

Maxine Wade
A rising star of the northern comedy scene, Maxine Wade combines political satire with anecdotes of her time nursing in the NHS. Her hilarious quick fire gags and puns about real life stories you wouldn’t believe. Saucy, sexy, and with a hint of sarcasm, Maxine has a reputation for bringing the house down. Yorkshire Comedy Awards Best Breakthrough Act 2023 and BBC New Comedy Awards Semi Finalist 2023.

Sumayyah Maye 
Prides herself on being a single mommy, neurodivergent and black Muslim. She has been writing poetry since she learned how to write and doesn't plan on stopping any time soon. With an American dad, a Scouse mom, and 15 years living abroad in Saudi Arabia, she hopes to relate to many on different levels. She prominently writes poetry in English but recently picked up writing Arabic poetry as well. 

Marigold Lately
Marigold was born in the Autumn of 2022 after a gestation period of more than 50 years. Since her birth she has performed at approaching 100 comedy and spoken word events throughout the North West.
She has recently made her theatre debut at her one woman sell out show in Liverpool.

Rheanon Lee
Rheanon using comedy to navigate into womanhood, it’s what every 20 year old teenage girl does, right? she has double D’s:  Disability and Delusional aspirations. What more could you want?’

Kimia Etemadi
Kimia Etemadi is a comedian from Greater Manchester who has performed at many venues around the North West and was a guest on the award-winning podcast ‘Drunk Women Solving Crime’

Tiggie Tiggie
Tiggie Tiggie is a new comic taking the circuit by storm with her graphic content and her bold and boundary pushing humour, prepare for belly laughs and face ache from this tour de force!

Kelly Edgar
Kelly is regular on the circuit and was Felt Nowt New Act of the Year 2020
