May line-up

Annette Fagon

Annette Fagon is a British stand-up comedian and TV warm up artist. Alongside this, she is a devout disability support worker for students in higher education alongside being a Carnival troop leader for her ensemble called The Soca Police Force (SPF). Currently talking loudly and having a good old-fashioned moan - as a backup for the therapy that is no longer affordable or available to her, Annette never fails to wow the audience with her brutal honesty and funny truths. With training in Theatre, Dance and broadcasting amongst her many skills, Annette Fagon’s performances are a very unique experience, she appears in clubs, theatres and festivals worldwide.

Danielle Frances

Danielle is a Scottish comedian based in the Northwest of England. She has a sweet but sassy sense of humour … who’s an anxious mess underneath. A gag teller with silly stories, and a bit of a self-confessed drama queen, Danielle is a bit of an attention seeking girlie. Don’t show her too much affection though, she might get overwhelmed.

“Danielle has got genuine passion for what she does and her material is slick with a perfect amount of punches on offer. Self-deprecating, observational and colourful” Cat and Stick Comedy

Lizzie Norm

Frumpy and funny, Lizzie Norm is a northern comic with a dry wit, a quirky slant, and weird observations. Lizzie was a  runner-up in 2023 for So You Think Your Funny? A  Comedy Bloomers semi-finalist in 2024, and has been heard on BBC radio.

El Atkinson

El Atkinson is a playwright, a poet, a sometimes puppeteer and newly a comic. They’re always trying to find a way to be just a bit sillier.

Elaine Roberts

Elaine’s great grandad ran a sweet shop on Scottie Road.  But times were hard in the confectionery world, and her family migrated down to the East End of London, where they stayed for the next 100 years or so.  Elaine grew up believing that if you went ‘up north’ it gave you nosebleeds. She works as a lecturer at LJMU, and makes forays into the world of comedy, ruminating about the oddness of life.

Donna Smith

Donnas love for writing poetry was reignited during lockdown. Poetry plays a part in Donna's personal journey. She is passionate about people using poetry as an outlet to find their voice.

“Donna is an amazing, funny and a strong woman. You can tell she's been there and has a few tales to tell. Love her dark humour but also tales of strength and survival” Her poetry has been published in - Its OK, its OK, its not OK. Lockdown stories from a shadow pandemic (Writing on the Wall), Stories Untold and A collection of stories by the students of Blackburne House.

Cheery

Cinematic Art Pop project, Cheery, is the new creation of Katlyn Conroy, who has brought their unique sound to Liverpool, England all the way from Lawrence, Kansas, USA. With 20 years of live performances under their belt, Conroy has performed alongside the likes of Daniel Johnston, Florence and the Machine, Two Door Cinema Club and Sara Barielles to name a few. Cheery pairs cinematic instrumentation with relatable, introspective lyrics and captivating vocals to create a heart wrenching and full bodied set.
