Y'MAM: Young Man's Angry Movements // Let's talk

Listen to writer and performer of Y’MAM (Young Men’s Angry Movement), Majid Mehdizadeh (aka Luke Jerdy) as he discusses the motivations for writing an auto-biographical show about male anger, and why it’s important to be putting a show like this on the main stage now.

This video opens with a poem from Gerry Clarkson (recently featured as opening the Everyman and friends Christmas cabaret), and features an excerpt of the show from Majid, alongside a discussion with charity partners Change Grow Live, and a panel discussion with actors George Bukhari (YEARS AND YEARS), and Rory Douglas-Speed (HOLLYOAKS).

Y'MAM: Young Man's Angry Movements is at the Everyman theatre, Wed 16 Jun to Sat 26 Jun 2021.
