Peace Doves stretching down Hope Street

If you’ve taken a stroll down Hope Street this week, you might have wondered what’s going on in our Everyman windows. We’re really pleased to announce that we are part of an extension of Peter Walker’s Peace Doves art installation.

Peter Walker’s Peace Doves make up an exhibit of over 18,000 paper doves, suspended on 15.5 miles of ribbon from the roof of the Anglican Cathedral. The beautiful array of doves are accompanied by a soundscape from composer David Harper.

The mass participation art project has now extended out of the Anglican Cathedral, and works it’s way down Hope Street, with paper doves featured on the front of our creative neighbours such as Liverpool Philharmonic and the Arts Bar. We’re really excited to have our own installation of Peace Doves, proudly displayed in our Everyman windows.

If you’d like to see the original exhibit in the Cathedral, you have until 31 August – but make sure that you book your slot first.
