Inspired by the Everyman Company production of Othello, Work Bard Play Bard gives students the opportunity to take themes from the play and devise their own original piece of theatre. They perform their work on the Everyman stage in July.

Schools can enter groups aged between 11 and 18. Groups must have between eight and 15 performers. The cost of the project is £450 or £300 for Learning partners. This includes at least one visit and a workshop with an experienced practitioner, the launch event at the theatre (with actors from The Company), full technical support in the run up to the event and on the day.
