Art in the Everyman //Ali Hunter

Ali is an artist from Lincolnshire, currently living in Liverpool. She graduated with a BA in
Illustration from Manchester school of Art in 2012.

Her current inspiration is drawn from home interiors and decor. In the first lockdown of the COVID-19 1 pandemic, Ali created a body of works titled ‘Quarinteriors’, where she focused on painting and drawing rooms in people’s homes. 

She’s currently working on a series of female portrait paintings, which combine fashion, pets and interiors. Her main source of inspiration is instagram, collecting images with busy, aesthetically pleasing compositions that she then goes on to recreate.

Ali has recently exhibited some recent works at Federal cafe in Manchester NQ, Angel Coffee House in Lincoln and Egg Cafe, Liverpool.
