Oisin Hassan

Oisín Hassan

Oisín Hassan is a Singer & Songwriter from Liverpool.

From a young age, he was listening to Americana & Soul music. As he grew and learnt to play guitar, Oisín began to merge those roots influences with his own original song-writing, to produce that authentic sound we have all come to know and love.

Taking inspiration from song-writing heroes like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen & Neil Young, Oisin crafts songs with an undeniably classic feel. Marrying traces of Yusuf / Cat Stevens with some more contemporary influences like Paolo Nutini.

Oisín’s music is a refreshing reworking of a familiar, beloved style.

Oisín has had numerous plays across many Local Radio including appearances on BBC Radio Merseyside and plays from BBC Introducing.

Oisín has been recording a series of EP’s from home called ‘Unplugged at Home’ which feature some of his most influential artists and songs.

Oisín has went on to support many local artists and bands such as Rock and Blues outfit Paul Dunbar & The Black Winter Band and the inspirational Xander and the Peace Pirates, who have shared stages with the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Robert Vincent, Bon Jovi & Bernie Marsden.

Ni Maxine

Ni Maxine

It’s time to experience the golden era of Jazz - North West style…

Ni Maxine is a 21st century Jazz singer bringing the glitz and glamour of Jazz to Liverpool. Inspired by the greats, including Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Nina Simone, Ni Maxine tells her story through song, accompanied by Merseyside’s own, Jack Lewis, on guitar.

‘Over the past year, I have been in the process of gathering my thoughts around my personal experiences and surroundings and weaving my emotion into song.’ - Ni Maxine

While in lockdown, Ni turned to song-writing to make sense of her life experiences and heal. Her music explores themes of home, identity, belonging, and self-esteem, concepts which she has struggled with over the years…

With her music, she aims to open eyes to the inequalities in society, particularly around the race and class divide and bring people together through song, sharing all of the lessons she has learned and (hopefully) inspiring the next generation to love and respect themselves, and others.

‘I have a story to tell and would like to use my words and ‘musical language’ to reach others in the way that music has reached me throughout my life so far.’ - Ni Maxine

Join Ni Maxine as she guides you through her personal journey of self-discovery and reaches for change for a better world, for all

The Circus Minds

The Circus Minds

The Circus Minds sound like the complete opposite of the noise your neighbour in the upstairs flat makes when they continually drop the remote onto their cheap, outdated, laminate flooring.

We do not like Only Fools & Horses.

We will be splitting up after this gig.

Our hearts are open but our minds are weary.

A mixture of spoken word and original songs.
