Sat 14 Jul 2018

A fun, interactive and free workshop for adults of any age. Participants are invited to share and reflect on their own life stories through a series of short reminiscence activities. Their stories will be spun to life by BAFTA-nominated storyteller Alia Alzougbi in our studio space.

Alia is a dynamic storyteller and educator. She has performed tales of wisdom and wiles from around the world to audiences of all ages. She is among the core teaching staff at the British Museum and also works as an actress and a voice-over artist. Hers is the voice behind the BBC's learning resource TalkArabic.

For two decades, Liverpool Arab Arts Festival has brought a thrilling showcase of the richness of Arab culture to Liverpool, with a packed programme of visual art, music, dance, film, theatre, literature and special events taking place in venues across the city.
