Pre-show Talk: Ramsey Campbell & Jeremy Dyson
Liverpool horror writer Ramsey Campbell will be joined by Jeremy Dyson for a pre-show talk about The Haunting of Hill House at the Playhouse Studio.
They will be talking about horror writing, with a particular emphasis on ‘the power of the unseen’; Shirley Jackson, her influence and the power of suggestive terror.
Ramsey Campbell said:
“Shirley Jackson's brand of quiet insidious terror is unique and inimitable, and The Haunting of Hill House is her ghostly masterpiece, which unites the uncanny and the psychological in a highly personal tale.”

Jeremy has written several books including Bright Darkness: Lost Art of the Supernatural Horror Film and The Haunted Book which chronicles true life ghost stories from around the UK.
