Filla Crack's Drag Cabaret

Thu 1 Jul to Sat 3 Jul 2021

EVERYMAN

£20 - £25

The performances of Drag Cabaret are unaffected by the re-scheduling of Cherry Jezebel and will be going ahead as planned. There will be a cast change, with burlesque performer Millie Dollar replacing Baby Daisy. Please be assured that the theatres are following all the necessary government and performing arts guidance both behind the scenes and in our public spaces. For this we have been awarded UK Theatre’s See it Safely mark, so you can feel confident and safe when you visit.

---

Our resident queen is taking over the main stage for 3 nights to bring you a show full of fun, comedy, burlesque, dance and all round silliness with the best local cabaret stars.

If you have seen Filla in the Bistro before, you’ll know the atmosphere is one to be matched, so now imagine her bigger, louder, prouder and even more sequined as we move her cove of love and freedom up to the auditorium (then imagine what she’ll get up to!)

Life doesn’t have to be such a drag, and after this year, we all need a little escapism, which is exactly what our queen and her guests will provide in a safe and warm environment.

So, Whatsapp the group, order your glitter and book a table ASAP because it's always a sell out when Miss Crack announces her return.

The acts

Ashleigh Owen

Ashleigh Owen:
Filla is delighted to bring back internationally ignored artist Ashleigh Owen to perform. Ashleigh will take us on a hilarious musical journey, serenading us with her treasure trove of stupidly brilliant comic songs.

Millie Dollar

Millie Dollar:
Millie Dollar is the Scouse Mouse who became a powerhouse. With her 15 years of travelling and performing internationally, she has first hand experience of life as a headline performer. As well as treading the boards in America, Europe, the UK and being the first burlesque performer to dance in Nepal, Millie has run her successful show The Martini Lounge, bringing the best of burlesque to Liverpool since 2007. Like she wasn’t doing enough already, Millie Dollar set up her burlesque school, The Dollar Bills Workshop in 2016, and has just launched the worlds first burlesque and cabaret history podcast - Cabaret Darlings.

Lady Se-Anne

Lady Se-Anne:
Liverpool born and bread Lady Se-Anne’, who’s mother was a dolphin and father was a shooting star, became Liverpool’s first physic bingo caller (who’d get in touch with dead bingo caller's.) She quickly became mentor and friends to the stars. Using her magic cards to spread love just like butter wouldn't melt. She first performed live at 5 year's old, coming 2nd at a Butlins talent competition and went on to win Festival of Comedy way back in 1988 then later perform in an all male version of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. In 1991 she was crowned Liverpool's Alternative Festival Queen by Lilly Savage herself and went on to DJ at The Hacienda, Cream, Garlands, G-bar, Superstar Boudoir and the oldest bar on the LGBT menu, The Lisbon! (which she loves very much) After appearing in many theatre and TV productions including Emmerdale, Letter to Brezhnev, Hollyoaks and Tin Star, Lady Se-Anne performed at the Everyman in her youth and, we are so excited to have a legend of Liverpool return, that we gave her this extra-long bio!
