A Lovely Word
A monthly spoken word night, taking place on the first Thursday of each month downstairs at the Everyman.
With 20 open mic spaces available per night, at a maximum of five minutes per slot, A Lovely Word is an exciting and open Merseyside performance poetry night.
A Lovely Word is supported by ourselves and Arts Council England to produce a series of events;
- Nationally recognised headliner performances (part of the monthly open mic night)
- Masterclasses in poetry writing for performance, and performance skills in spoken word
- Monthly development workshops for spoken word, called ‘A Lovely Workshop’
