The Institute of Irish Studies, University of Liverpool will lead a post-show discussion on the history of Irish participation in the First World War and its complex historical and political legacies.  Led by Prof. Peter Shirlow, Dr. Diane Urquhart, Dr. Kevin Bean, and Ph.D. candidate Michael Robinson, the institute's scholars will share their research and invite you to discuss the themes in Frank McGuinness's play Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme.
