Northern Broadsides

Classic plays and new writing in a distinctive northern voice

Northern Broadsides have built a solid reputation for delivering classic plays and new writing in a distinctive northern voice.

Formed in 1992 by Barrie Rutter, the multi-award winning touring company is immensely proud of its West Yorkshire roots. Wherever they play, nationally or internationally, their theatre is often fun, with a sense of musicality and it's always accessible.

Gemma Bodinetz, our Artistic Director, says: "This company has been delighting Everyman & Playhouse audiences since 2003. ‘Nuff said."
