Our Engagement team have been working on a project linked to The Suitcase led by Levi Tafari. Working with Hector Peterson Court and the Unity Youth Centre, the project is based around theme "a moment that changed my life". Through reminiscence activities, poetry performed by Levi and group discussion each person identified a moment in their lives when something changed; a meeting, a decision, a move, a moment in time...

The stories and poems created by the participants are on display in the Playhouse Circle Bar during the run. Following themes of migration, journeys and hopes for a better life, the installation reflects the world of the play. Inside the suitcases, you'll find the stories and poems, shared as written text, audio recordings and film projections.
