We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our theatres.

Taking steps for a safe visit

We're taking steps to ensure the safety of our audiences and our staff, so that everyone can feel confident and have a great time.
Our procedures are subject to review, in line with current government health guidance.

Visit with confidence
We want your visit to be safe, comfortable and enjoyable and have implemented a number of measures to ensure the safety of our audiences and our staff, so that everyone can feel confident and have a great time.

What we’re doing

  • Enhanced cleaning and ventilation
  • Cashless sales
  • Sending you a pre-visit email to ensure you have the most up to date information
  • Smartphone tickets

What we’d like you to do

  • We recommend you wear a face covering where close contact with others is unavoidable.
  • If you start to display any symptoms associated with Covid-19, please follow the latest Government advice.
  • Apply high hygiene standards throughout your visit.
  • Follow any instructions from our team as they are there to help and make us all safe.
  • Please look out for your pre-visit email which will contain the most up to date information for your visit.

Guidance may change (and at short notice) but be assured we will follow the most up to date legislation for the performing arts and local guidance to ensure you can enjoy a visit with confidence.

Here’s the answers to some of the questions you may have:

Do I have to have a ‘vaccine passport’ or negative test to attend?
No. Government guidance does not require this now. We review our policies on an ongoing basis, so please do check your pre-visit email to see what Covid measures are in place.

Do I need to wear a mask or face covering?
No, but we recommend you wear a face covering where close contact with others is unavoidable.

Will there be socially distanced seating in the auditorium?
All our productions are sold to potentially full capacity, unless guidance changes.

Can I get a refund if I test positive?
Our policy changed on 1st April to our previous policy; see our terms and conditions for details of your options for exchange and resale.

Will the bars be open for drinks and snacks?
There will be a full bar service at both theatres. The bar will be open 1hr before the start of a matinée or evening performance, 30mins before the start of a morning performance, and during the interval.

At the Everyman our Street Café will be open and serves a selection of food, snacks, drinks and treats. You can see the Street Cafe daily opening times here.

Will the cloakroom be open?
No but we will have some space set aside for mobility aids and pushchairs. Let us know when you arrive if you need this service. You can take your belongings into the auditorium with you, but please don’t bring large bags or lots of shopping! Don’t forget we reserve the right to inspect your bags if we need to.

How often is the venue cleaned?
We have enhanced cleaning procedures in place to make sure everything is deep cleaned before anyone enters the building.

What happens if the Government changes the COVID-19 guidance?
Our Covid-19 procedures are subject to review, in line with government guidance. We will be constantly re-evaluating our health and safety measures, keeping on top of the most up-to-date legislation, and updating our procedures accordingly.

If I have more questions about my visit, who do I ask?
If you have any questions or concerns, please email [email protected] and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. We’ll be updating this page frequently and your pre-visit email will include the latest information about your visit.
