“A sleek dancing machine” Daily Telegraph, 2008

Internationally renowned dance company Phoenix Dance Theatre open their new tour at Liverpool Playhouse with this world première, featuring four unique pieces of dance.

With a live microphone at its heart, Aletta Collins’ Maybe Yes Maybe, Maybe No Maybe blends movement and voices to create a fresh, witty piece. In Isira Makuloluwe’s Locked in Vertical, dancers coil and turn their way through a breathtakingly fluid new work. Inspired by the words of Barack Obama, Warren Adams’ The Audacious One is packed with tense, political intrigue. The bill is completed by a welcome return to the stage for Philip Taylor’s atmospheric Haunted Passages.
