Alicia studied drama at the Escuela de Actores de Canarias in Tenerife and al École Philippe Gaulier in London.

She performed and composed for Teatro Tamaska in Tenerife for ten years, after which, she moved to Barcelona, co-founded her own theatre company and worked for various other companies in Spain. She also co-founded DonaCançó, a project designed to platform feminist creativity, based in Barcelona. Alicia is an accomplished singer/composer, having studied music at the Conservatorio Superior de Música in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and has composed for various contemporary dance productions and some plays for other theatre companies.

Alicia is currently working on several social theatre projects in Barcelona and she has recently released a third album with her band. In England previous work with Théâtre Sans Frontiéres includes: El Sombrero de tres picosComo agua para chocolate and Lorca: Amor en el Jardín.

Alicia made her Told by an Idiot debut in December 2015 in Get Happy at The Pit Theatre, Barbican Centre and is looking forward to touring in Heads Will Roll.
