3.7.09 McGoughière and Deaf School on air this weekend on BBC Radio!
For anyone who hasn't yet experienced the comedy genius of  McGoughière or for those of you that have already enjoyed "the perfect tonic" of McGough and Molière magic The Hypochondriac or that caught the 10/10 "theatrical highlight of Capital of Culture year" Tartuffe there is a special treat on BBC Radio 3 this weekend. There is also a chance to hear a documentary on Deaf School who will take to the Everyman stage to perform in September.

Local reviews for Roger McGough’s adaptation of the classic Molière comedy The Hypochondriac raved about the 5 Star production they described as "the perfect tonic"! The national press also loved the ‘laughter elixir’ with reviews declaring it as "an evening of sweet pleasure"! Audiences seem to agree as The Hypochondriac, now extended until 18 July, continues to draw in the crowds in Liverpool ahead of a national tour!

The reviews are in for Roger McGough’s adaptation of the classic Molière comedy The Hypochondriac and it isn't just the critics who love the ‘laughter elixir’! With incredible advance sales and over 2,000 people watching the hilarious production since it opened on Friday we are delighted to announce an extension of it's run at the Playhouse ahead of a national tour!
