How to find us
The following information should help you with your travel arrangements to the Playhouse. Please call the Box Office on 0151 709 4776 for the very latest information affecting journeys in and out of the city centre.
Travelling by Bus
The Playhouse is a few minutes walk from the bus stops at Queen Square and Sir Thomas Street. The new interchange for Paradise Street is now open and serves buses from across Merseyside.

Liverpool Lime Street mainline station is 5 minutes walk away. For more information Network Rail.

Loop system from Moorfields via Elliot Street (St. John's Market) and Lime Street (St. George's Hall).
Monday - Saturday:
7.00am - 7.00pm every 5 mins
After 7.00pm the services is every 10 mins.
Loop system from Brunswick Station to Berry Street
Monday - Saturday: 7.00am - 7.00pm every 15 mins
Travelling by Car
If you're travelling from outside the city, follow signage for Queen Square or St John's Car Parks to reach the Playhouse. For SAT NAV: L1 1EL
Car Parking
Playhouse patrons are entitled to a reduction at St Johns Car Parks: £2 after 5pm on production of your theatre ticket.
Travelling by Coach
For the Playhouse, coaches can set down and pick up on Victoria Street.
Travelling by Taxi
At the Playhouse, taxis can drop off at the Williamson Square taxi rank, a few minutes walk across the square to the theatre.
