YOUNG TECHNICIANS
Our Young Technicians programme gives young people the opportunity to learn and develop skills in technical theatre, including lighting and sound.
Young Technicians will work on YEP projects and Young Actors shows as well as assisting on other events inside and outside of the theatre. Supporting ‘on the job’ events forms an important part of the learning process, to put into action what participants have learnt through sessions. Recent examples include; short play season Six in the City at the CUC and ‘Cinderfella’ pantomime performance for the Rotunda.
“Can I especially thank the young technicians who were a real asset to the programme that you are running at the Everyman and Playhouse. They were professional and exceptionally helpful when it came to both designing and operating the lights and technical operation on the night,”
John Whelan, Rotunda
Young Technicians will also gain accreditation including Arts Award.
