THE WINTERS TALE FESTIVAL(in venues around Liverpool)

In collaboration with the University of Liverpool’s School of English, Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse will join in festivities to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the first ever performance of The Winter’s Tale.
Schools will respond to the play in a variety of ways – through theatre, art and poetry.

Looking for an in depth look at the theatre? Want answers to questions such as; who works in the theatre? What departments are there? How is a theatre funded? Then look no further, we have a range of activities and resources to help.

  • Q’work day (Quirky work) - An intensive day at the theatre working closely with professionals. The day consists of a range of dynamic, hands on activities (more info can be found in Ed+)
  • Just the Job DVD and resource pack - A fantastic tool to introduce the students to theatre, and how it works as a business organisation (more info can be found in Ed+)
  • Tours and talks  - We offer a range of tours and talks which can be tailored to your specific needs.

 

  • A student works hard to create a prop during a Q’work day
  • A group of students present their work to the Dragons' Den
  • University of Liverpool students enjoy a practical Shakespeare workshop
  • Our Communications and PR Manager guides students through a Q’work task
