The Everyman One Year On: A theatre with heart

Today marks one year since the new Everyman opened its doors to the public for the first time. It has been an incredible 12 months in the life of the theatre; from the 4,500 people who poured in to the building on March 2 2014 to winning the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize.

Stimulating events for Educating Rita with Waterstones & BBC Get Creative

We have created two events that will explore the themes and issues around their hit production, Educating Rita. On Tuesday 24 February actors Con O’Neill and Leanne Best will be at Waterstones in Liverpool One as part of the store’s ‘Lunchtime Classic’ series. The following day there will be a special post-show debate as part of the BBC’s Get Creative initiative which will include Dr John Bennett from Hope University and Dr Casey Beaumont from University of Liverpool on the panel. Both events are presented as part of on-going collaborations.
